New code has appeared on Perviy Kanal: Aug, 2006
Decoding the new code Rosscrypt which appeared on Russian TV "Perviy Kanal" will be available. Tests of the code are going on Express AM 1 and AM 2 at present. BISS (already decoded) still be used also on the same channel. It seems channel Russia (RTR) will not be coded by the new code as well as by the former code BISS. Rosscrypt has been invented in Russia and it has been considered that it would not be decoded, but now people say that's not absolute. Express AM 3 still has no change at present, but even if it will be changed, we will solve the problem too. We keep an eye on the latest news about satellite TV.

NTT trunk has been shifted onto optical fiber: Jun 04, 2006
The telecommunication line (a dedicated line) which linked between TV key stations (Tokyo) and local TV stations has been shifted onto connecting by optical fiber which has higher bandwidth. The line is called NTT trunk, and is used to connect TV stations. A radio wave (micro wave) had been used, and it had been a kind of obstacles in certain places to receive C-band Satellite TV for a long time. But now the frequency band must be clean with the shifting. That sounds a good news for Satellite TV fans.

Don't worry, dear clients!: May 25, 2006
Since May 25th, Russian channels; ORT, RTR, etc. have been scrambled by BISS. This occurred to all viewing audiences all over the world. You can find a solution in decoding the channels to see them again like before. All of the receivers which are from Inter Satellite TV have functions of decoding. Also you can find the information such as how-to on the Internet.
 There are some ways of solution;
 1) Commission experts for value.
 2) Find a code on the Internet and input it into your receiver.
 3) Find a program on the Internet and update the software of your receiver via PC.

It had been prepared for these events from the beginning of our satellite works. But nobody knew when the encryption would be and what code would be used then. Therefore, our clients who had got our equipment (receiver; SuperMax, Topfield, InterSatelliteTV) don't need to worry for these receivers have a program to input keys encoding channels. If it's hard for you to do by yourself or if you just don't want to, we are always glad to help you.

The software will vary by unknown schedule even once after your favorite channels had been decoded. Then another insertion of the software has to be made by value. And it's prospective that channels will be coded repeatedly in the future as Russia will. The channels which are coded by BISS usually change the codes in 6 months at minimum, but the changing possibly happens earlier.

Therefore, so that our clients may not have difficulties with enjoying their favorite channels, a discounts-guarantees is available for updating software. For example, at first you send us your receiver with a compensation of our service (10,000 yen), and we update, then send the receiver back to you. But when Russia changed codes in 10 days again the updating fee is only 3,000 yen. See the below for the updating fee and its term.

The usual updating software for our clients is 10,000 yen plus delivery cost. The discount-guarantee operates after our changing program of your receiver
Till 3 months, 5,000 yen plus delivery cost
Till 1 month, 3,000 yen plus delivery cost
Till 1 week, only delivery cost

Receivers which have been bought from other companies or somewhere else basically have no function for coded channels. It is bound that other companies do not minutely keep an eye on development and events in the field of satellite TV business, and also it seems hard for them to get the information generally. Viewing audiences of coded channels should get a new receiver which decodes channels and stably keep the signals in Japan. Such receivers at present are available only in our company. They excel on survey of the coded channels, moreover some of them have readers for universal decoding cards. You can practically see any coded channels by such receivers.

Cost of update software and decoding the receivers which have been bought from other sellers; 20,000 yens plus delivery fee. In advance the opportunity of alteration is discussed.
The discount-guarantee operates after our changing program of your receiver
Till 3 months, 5,000 yen plus delivery fee
Till 1 month, 3,000 yen plus delivery fee
Till 1 week, only delivery fee

Please contact us at first before sending your receiver. And let us know the model number and the maker. Then we will tell you details and how to.

Failure of satellite "Express AM11": Apr, 2006
Viewing channels from satellite Express AM11 has got fail because of its fatal accident which has occurred on March 29th. It is possible to re-customize your channels on satellite Express AM3, Express AM2, Express A2 or on satellite AsiaSat 2. These satellites are in southwest but have the limited quantity of channels or the larger antenna will be necessary.
If you have questions about this problem or you need to re-customize your antenna, feel free to contact us. We are always glad to help you.

Express-AM11 spacecraft failure: Mar 29, 2006 by RSCC
March 29, 2006 at 3:41 a.m. (Moscow time), the Express-AM11 satellite located at 96.5 East orbital slot had an accident. According to the preliminary finding of the NPO PM spacecraft manufacturer the telemetry information showed that due to a sudden external impact an instantaneous depressurization of the thermal control system fluid circuit had happened, followed by a sudden outburst of the heat-carrying agent. This resulted in a significant disturbing moment generation followed by the spacecraft orientation loss and rotation.

March 29 at 6:55 a.m. (Moscow time), RSCC downloaded its backup capacities on the east orbital arc and as a result all Russian and commercial TV & Radio broadcasting was restored. All communications channels of a state importance have been transferred to the Express-A2 (103 East), Express-AM2 (80 East), and Express-AM3 (140 East) satellites. Practically all commercial communications channels are restored since the RSCC’s satellite constellation was made up considering necessity of a backup for contingency cases.

At present, providing services via the Express-AM11 satellite is impossible. RSCC request the Express-AM11 customers to appreciate with understanding this difficult situation associated with interrupting the communications channels operation.
